Do not put it off! It is imperative to focus on preventative health.
Treating diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol is the bread and butter of family medicine and we love to help our patients manage these conditions and even reverse these conditions.
However, giving you the necessary information to prevent chronic disease is even better! Our priority with our comprehensive wellness evaluation is to help you determine your risk of developing chronic conditions. By using advanced biomarkers, we can access your cardiac and metabolic health to get you on your way to prevention and lifestyle management.
Wellness physical information provided below is for non-members only. Yearly wellness examination is included for members and laboratory pricing provided at discount for our members. Please be advised, this is not an urgent care or sick visit. Physical is performed for well individuals only.
A. Physical is scheduled for 60mins in office visit and includes medical history review and physician examination.
B. Results of any lab studies performed will be reviewed on a follow up phone call within 7 days of your appointment.
C. Cost of your 30minute phone call to review labs is included in the fee for your physical.
D. All laboratory testing is performed at our outpatient lab partner facility. You will get an order for labs ordered.
E. A charge of $150.00 is needed to reserve your appointment time. This is applied to your total cost.
F. 50% of your reservation fee will be refunded if appointment is cancelled within 48hours. All appointments cancelled with less than 48hour notice, will have no refund.

Wellness Physical Options and Pricing
Wellness physician examination without laboratory studies: $350.00
Wellness physician examination with basic laboratory testing: $475.00
Pap smear is not included in the cost of the wellness physical. This can be added depending on the type of screening needed.
Pap smear without HPV testing: $80.00
Pap smear with HPV testing: $100.00
Pap smear with Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and HPV testing: 150.00
Wellness physical includes health screening recommendations appropriate for your age. If health screening studies need a physician order or referral, this can be discussed at your appointment.
*Please be advised, our wellness physical exams do not include any medication refills or initiation of new medications.
Basic laboratory testing includes: CBC with Diff, CMP, TSH, Lipid panel and Hemoglobin A1C ($125.00)
Additional testing and labs can be added after appropriate review of medical history and risk factors.

Complete Thyroid Panel $180.00 (T4, T3, Thyroid antibodies etc)
Hormone Panel $180.00 (estradiol, progesterone, testosterone etc)
What does the blood work check for?
Complete blood count: evaluation for anemia and blood disorder
Complete metabolic panel: electrolyte, liver and kidney function.
Hemoglobin A1C: diabetes screening
TSH and Free T4: thyroid function panel.
Vitamin Levels: 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D level and Vitamin B12
Lipid panel: check Cholesterol Levels
Apolipoprotein A: advanced biomarker to evaluate risk of developing cardiovascular disease
Lipoprotein (a): genetic biomarker to evaluate risk of developing cardiovascular disease like heart attack or stroke.
Insulin resistance panel w/ score: Advanced biomarker to evaluate risk of developing diabetes.

*Self pay clinic, no insurance. No problem! We do not bill any insurance in our office.
*We can provide a Superbill of your visit that you can submit to insurance but we don’t guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company.
*We are opted out of Medicare so our services cannot be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement.
*All labs are drawn at our lab partner facility in Asheville. Patients will be given a lab order form to take to the lab facility for blood draw. Please note, we are a self pay clinic so if you use insurance for labs, your transaction for labs is then between you and the lab facility. Keep in mind that some of these labs are advanced biomarkers that may incur a much higher cost through insurance. Submitting labs with insurance does not guarantee coverage and the bill you may receive from the lab facility may be much higher than our guaranteed price. We bear no responsibility on what your portion of cost ends up being should you choose to use your insurance for the laboratory studies.
