We believe the journey to achieve healthy weight is a personalized one therefore we utilize a physician supervised weight loss program that provides an environment that fosters patience and safety.

Maintaining a healthy weight can significantly improve cardiovascular health and reduce risk of obesity related diseases like type II diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea and more!. Obesity is a chronic condition and just like diabetes and heart disease, we understand the role of medication management along with lifestyle changes to help our patients achieve their goals.
Treating obesity and obesity related problems, requires focusing on nutrition, physical activity, behavior modification and utilizing medications like Semaglutide, Tirzapetide, Wegovy, Saxenda, Mounjaro, or Zepbound to help with weight loss. We are proud to provide a comprehensive physician supervised medical weight loss program to patients in Asheville, Hendersonville and surrounding areas in Western North Carolina.

How Does Our Program Work?
We are able to help patients achieve weight loss success by combining diet and exercise with prescription medications like Semaglutide, Tirzapetide, Wegovy, Mounjaro or Zepbound that help to counteract some of the factors that prevent weight loss.
Dr. Osei will take your lifestyle, habits, and tendencies into account, and help pick lifestyle changes and medications that will ensure your success.
During our program, you will have a 1 hour in depth initial comprehensive evaluation with physical examination and laboratory studies as well as monthly continuous monitoring.
All visits are performed with a Board-Certified Physician.

Access to Meal Plans
Weight loss Medication Prescription and Management (We send all prescription and compounded prescriptions to the pharmacy, we do not administer weight loss medications in our office)
B12 and Lipotropic B12 injections
Follow up visits every monthly either in-person or virtual.

How Much Does It Cost?

Our weight loss program is structured in 6, 9 or 12months enrollment.
Cost of our program includes all services stated above with the exception of cost for your laboratory studies and medication.
We charge a one-time non-refundable enrollment fee of $50 when you schedule your appointment.
Enrollment fee is applied to your first month fee.
Program is $200/Month. The fee covers the following:
Initial comprehensive 1 hour evaluation with physical exam, body composition analysis and ECG if required.
Monthly visits either in person or virtual for ongoing evaluation
Medication prescription and management
Access to meal plans
Monthly B12/MIC-B12 Injections
The cost of laboratory studies is not included in your fee. For those with medial health insurance, you can choose to use it for the cost of laboratory studies (your insurance may charge you a co-pay). For our uninsured patients, you can use our heavily discounted cash pricing for laboratory studies.
The cost of your medication is not included in your fee. Dr. Osei prescribes a variety of weight loss medications, and many of them are also covered by insurance. As with most prescriptions, a co-pay may apply. All prescription medications are sent to your desired pharmacy. For those who opt to use compounded medications, we send your prescriptions to a dedicated pharmacy as well.
We do not administer weight loss medications in our office but provide our patients with the necessary education to self-administer your medications.
We value our whole person care approach therefore we understand that weight management is different for everybody as such we recommend scheduling a free 15min virtual consultation to learn more!

*Laboratory Studies Ordered: Complete Blood Count (CBC), Liver and Kidney Function, Thyroid studies (TSH and Free T4), Hemoglobin A1C, Cholesterol Profile, Vitamin D level, Vitamin B12 and Folate Level. (Patients interested in other laboratory studies can review this with the physician at your appointment. Cost of additional laboratory studies can be provided during your visit).
*Physical examination does not include genitourinary exam (Pap Smear).
*All labs are drawn at our lab partner facility in Asheville. Patients will be given a lab order form to take to the lab facility for blood draw.
*Cash pay pricing is subject to change based on availability. If you are uninsured, the estimated total cost of the laboratory studies with our cash pay pricing is $100.00
*Please be advised we do not bill insurance for our weight loss program. Patients with or without insurance are welcome. Dr. Osei doesn’t accept insurance, however she can give you an invoice to submit to your insurance. Please be advised we do not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance. We are opted our of Medicare so our services cannot be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement.
