How One Health Saves Patients Money on Prescription Costs

Last week I got a message from our website from a patient who is interested in joining our practice. Here is the email:

  • Hello Dr. Osei, I started my own business this year and I do not have insurance. I am on 3 medications and have been using GoodRx for my medications. Recently, I went to the pharmacy to get my medications and my anxiety medication was quite expensive. Here are the medications I use in a 3 month period. Is there anything you can do to help?
    Escitalopram 10mg, 90days - $93.10
    Sumatriptan 50mg, 9 tablets - $19.66
    Hydroxyzine 25mg, 30tablets - $10.48

I was surprised to see that she is paying $123.24 for 3 months of generic medication. That is crazy!.

Here is the reply I sent her:

  • Thank you for contacting us. Here are the prices of your medications at One Health.

    Escitalopram 10mg, 90tablets - $7.72

    Sumatriptan 50mg, 9 tablets - $7.77

    Hydroxyzine 25mg, 30 tablets - $3.70

It looks like you will be saving $104 on your medication if you joined our practice and you will also have easy access to your doctor through call, text or email and same or next day appointments if needed.

Thank you for reaching out to us and hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Please let us know if I can be helpful in any other way. -Dr. Osei (828-360-8359)

This is just one way that we save patients money on their healthcare. Thank you for reading and have a great week!
